Ben Fettes vs Adam Lacourse

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/09/2026 from Lafayette, USA:

The Lafayette venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ben Fettes (2 - 11) who hails from Cape Coral, USA and Adam Lacourse(24(1) - 16) from Lafayette, USA.  

Round 1: 

Lacourse steps inside.  Lacourse pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Fettes's body.  
Lacourse closes the distance.  Lacourse pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook to Fettes's ribcage.  
Lacourse walks Fettes down, trapping him on the ropes.  Lacourse lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.

Lacourse lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lacourse gets on the inside and walks Fettes into a neutral corner.  Lacourse is on target with a right hook to Fettes's body.  
Lacourse quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Lacourse drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Lacourse lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Lacourse steps inside.  Lacourse quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lacourse's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Fettes steps inside.  Lacourse is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Lacourse lands a stinging jab.  
Fettes lands a right uppercut.  
Fettes steps away from his opponent.  Fettes sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Fettes throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
