Boxing Daily Report from the Belarus National Finals 2027,  taking place on 11/03/2027 from Gomel, Belarus:

The Gomel venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Lazar Dragon (9 - 10) who hails from Minsk, Belarus and Nikolai Bomba(17 - 24) from Minsk, Belarus.

Dragon closes the distance.  Dragon attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Bomba's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Dragon throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Dragon closes the distance and walks his opponent into the corner.  Dragon attempts to land a right hook, but Bomba blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Dragon walks Bomba onto the ropes.  Dragon pivots from in front of his opponent, but Bomba lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Dragon tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Dragon closes the distance and forces Bomba to retreat onto the ropes.  Bomba digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bomba feints a right hook, and then hits home with a stiff jab.  
Bomba feints a left hook, and then attempts to land a jab, but Dragon sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Dragon steps inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Bomba blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Bomba lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Dragon forces Bomba to retreat onto the ropes.  Dragon lands a left uppercut.  Bomba clinches his opponent.  Dragon uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Bomba behind the head. 
Dragon steps inside.  Bomba hits home with a left hook.  
Bomba steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but Dragon dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.
