Boxing Daily Report from the Canada National Finals 2027,  taking place on 11/03/2027 from Montreal, Canada:

The Montreal venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Algernon Duris (11 - 2) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Connor Clabby(15 - 13) from Toronto, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Clabby steps inside and tries to land a left hook, but Duris sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.

Clabby pivots from in front of his opponent, but Duris lands a right hook.  
Clabby walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Clabby pivots to the side of his opponent, but Duris hits home with a cross.

Duris steps to the outside.  Duris sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Clabby closes the distance and manages to force Duris into a neutral corner.  Clabby is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Clabby attempts to land a left uppercut, but Duris blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Clabby lands two right uppercut's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Duris is on target with a jab.

Clabby closes the distance.  Clabby quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Duris throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Clabby's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Duris is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Duris feints a jab, but Clabby does not fall for it and is on target with a cross.
