Cris Lorenz vs Xalvador Negro

Boxing Daily Report from the Costa Rica National Finals 2027,  taking place on 11/03/2027 from San Jose, Costa Rica:

The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cris Lorenz (3 - 9) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Xalvador Negro(8(1) - 14) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  

Round 1:

Lorenz throws a left hook, but Negro clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Negro pushes his forearm into Lorenz's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Negro about fouling.
