Hikaru Tajima vs Jun Kojima

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan National Finals 2027,  taking place on 26/03/2027 from Toyohashi, Japan:

The Toyohashi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hikaru Tajima (2 - 8) who hails from Saitama, Japan and Jun Kojima(15 - 12) from Fukuoka, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Kojima gets on the inside.  Tajima lands a right hook.  
Kojima manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Kojima hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Kojima feints a jab, fooling Tajima into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Kojima avoids the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Kojima advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Kojima advances into close range.  Kojima pivots to the left of his opponent, but Tajima is on target with a left hook.  
Kojima is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Kojima lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.
