Bruce Coates vs Jake Walkinshaw

Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2027,  taking place on 29/03/2027 from Georgetown, Guyana:

The Georgetown venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bruce Coates (10 - 13) who hails from Linden, Guyana and Jake Walkinshaw(6 - 2) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Walkinshaw sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Coates digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Walkinshaw connects with a left hook.  
Coates cuts off the ring, trapping Walkinshaw on the ropes.  Coates sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two left uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  
Walkinshaw is on target with a left hook.  
Walkinshaw lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Walkinshaw is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a cross.

Coates closes the distance and drives a firm right hook into Walkinshaw's body.  
Coates quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Coates gets on the inside.  Coates pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a firm left uppercut.  
Coates drives a left hook into his opponents body.
