Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2027,  taking place on 29/03/2027 from New Kingston, Jamaica:

The New Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cody Swapp (32 - 15) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Dave Ways(15 - 9) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Ways pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ways throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Ways steps inside.  Ways pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Swapp pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.
