Luka Baltauss vs Valeri Salms

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia National Finals 2027,  taking place on 11/04/2027 from Riga, Latvia:

The Riga venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Luka Baltauss (22 - 32) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Valeri Salms(16 - 14) from Riga, Latvia.  

Round 1: 

Salms steps inside.  Baltauss is on target with a right hook.  
Salms throws an overhand right, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Salms walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Salms pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Baltauss throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.
