Boxing Daily Report from the UK National Finals 2027,  taking place on 26/04/2027 from Bolton, UK:

The Bolton venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alastair McComb (18 - 11(1)) who hails from Birmingham, UK and Fraser Wilde(2 - 6) from London, UK.  

Round 1: 

McComb lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

McComb lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
McComb drives a solid right hook into Wilde's ribcage.  McComb ties up his opponent.  Wilde tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits McComb behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McComb is looking to close the distance.  Wilde is on target with a right hook.  
Wilde steps to the outside.  McComb hits home with a cross.

McComb advances into close range.  Wilde throws a right uppercut, but McComb ties up his opponent.  McComb leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Wilde is looking to keep the action on the outside.  McComb connects with a cross.  
Wilde pivots to the left of his opponent, but McComb hits home with a left hook.  
McComb gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Wilde's ribs.  
Wilde hits home with a cross.  
McComb lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
McComb walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Wilde is on target with a left uppercut.  
McComb throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  McComb ties up his opponent.  Wilde pushes his forearm into McComb's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Wilde.
