Boxing Daily Report from the Zambia National Finals 2027,  taking place on 26/04/2027 from Lusaka, Zambia:

The Lusaka venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jayvyn Kasanka (6 - 7) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Peabo Chobe(3 - 5(1)) from Lusaka, Zambia.  

Round 1: 

Chobe is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Kasanka tries to land a jab, but Chobe dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Kasanka's ribcage.  
Chobe gets on the inside.  Kasanka drives a right hook into Chobe's body.  
Kasanka is on target with a cross.  
Chobe hits home with a left hook.  
Chobe hits home with a left uppercut.  
Chobe feints a jab, but Kasanka is not fooled and is on target with a left hook.  
Kasanka is on target with a right hook.  
Chobe switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Chobe gets on the inside.  Kasanka drives a left hook into Chobe's ribs.  
Kasanka lands a solid jab.  
Kasanka gets on the inside.  Chobe drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Chobe attempts to land a left hook, but Kasanka parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kasanka is looking to close the distance.  Chobe hits home with a solid right hook.

Kasanka lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Kasanka pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Chobe's ribs.  
Chobe tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a jab, but Kasanka slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Chobe advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kasanka pivots to the right of his opponent and throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Chobe's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Kasanka steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kasanka drives a stinging left hook into Chobe's body.  
Kasanka retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Chobe accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Kasanka.  
Kasanka tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kasanka's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win. Chobe's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
