The Espoo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Daniel Lajunen (8 - 12) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Kalervo Karppinen(0 - 6(1)) from Espoo, Finland.

Lajunen tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Karppinen gets on the inside and forces Lajunen to retreat into a corner.  Lajunen attempts to land a right uppercut, but Karppinen dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Karppinen is looking to close the distance.  Karppinen sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Karppinen throws a right hook, but Lajunen clinches his opponent.  Lajunen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Lajunen gets on the inside.  Karppinen is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Karppinen closes the distance and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Lajunen ties up his opponent.  Karppinen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Lajunen lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Lajunen tries to step out of his opponents range.  Lajunen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.
