The Toronto venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Haney (17 - 13) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Joel Ruane(0 - 10) from Toronto, Canada.

Haney pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ruane tries to land a cross, but Haney sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Haney drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Haney holds on to his opponent.  Haney leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Haney throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Ruane time to recover.  
Haney lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Haney lands a left hook.  Haney ties up his opponent.  Ruane is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Haney pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Ruane gets on the inside and tries to land a left uppercut, but Haney sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Haney advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Ruane attempts to land a right hook, but Haney blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to Ruane's liver.  
Ruane throws a right hook, but Haney ties up his opponent.  Haney is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.
