Diego Noyola vs Ignado Pio

Boxing Daily Report from the Costa Rica National Finals 2028,  taking place on 11/03/2028 from San Jose, Costa Rica:

The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Noyola (9 - 13) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Ignado Pio(7 - 3) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  

Round 1: 

Pio is on target with a solid cross.

Pio gets on the inside.  Pio digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  Pio throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Noyola to the neutral corner.  He tells Pio he will lose a point if he continues to foul.
