Santiago Velarde vs Zacarias Castanon

The Manta venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Santiago Velarde (7 - 5) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Zacarias Castanon(4 - 12) from Quito, Ecuador.  

Round 1:

Velarde hits home with a cross.  
Velarde walks Castanon onto the ropes.  Velarde pivots to the left of his opponent, but Castanon connects with a right uppercut.  
Castanon tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Castanon lands a solid jab.  
Castanon is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a sharp cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Velarde's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
