Santiago Gaspar vs Zelipe Motta

Boxing Daily Report from the Brazil National Finals 2028,  taking place on 14/03/2028 from Campinas, Brazil:

The Campinas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Santiago Gaspar (19 - 10) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Zelipe Motta(6 - 3) from Salvador, Brazil.  

Round 1: 

Motta pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.

Motta tries to keep the action at long range.  Gaspar lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Motta is looking to close the distance.  Gaspar digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Motta advances into close range and walks Gaspar onto the ropes.  Gaspar lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gaspar tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Gaspar strikes his opponents body with a jab.  Gaspar attempts to land a jab, but Motta blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
