Dave Nappier vs Justin Harley

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/03/2028 from Saint Paul, USA:

The Saint Paul venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Nappier (18 - 23(4)) who hails from Miami, USA and Justin Harley(2 - 1) from Saint Paul, USA.  

Round 1: 

Harley hits home with a left hook.  Harley attempts to land a left hook, but Nappier dodges the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Harley is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Nappier walks Harley down, trapping him on the ropes.  Nappier lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Nappier quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Nappier drives a right hook into Harley's ribcage.  
Nappier closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.

Harley switches the action to the outside and lands a hard jab.  
Nappier gets on the inside.  Harley throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Nappier clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Nappier pushes his forearm into Harley's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nappier about fouling.  
Harley throws a left hook, but Nappier holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Harley pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Harley throws a left hook, but Nappier ties up his opponent.  Harley uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Nappier behind the head. 
Nappier attempts to land a left uppercut, but Harley blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Nappier drives a right hook into Harley's body.  
Nappier lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Nappier lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Nappier clinches his opponent.  Nappier leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nappier lands a cross to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Nappier advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Nappier holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Nappier closes the distance and is on target with a firm left hook to Harley's body.
