Boxing Daily Report from the Ghana National Finals 2028,  taking place on 26/03/2028 from Tamale, Ghana:

The Tamale venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.

Akamenya attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Quartey's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Quartey sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Akamenya hits home with a cross.  
Quartey attempts to land a jab, but Akamenya sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Akamenya's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
