Aftab Fadel vs Akbar Sunder

Boxing Daily Report from the India National Finals 2028,  taking place on 26/03/2028 from Chennai, India:

The Chennai venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Aftab Fadel (24(1) - 25) who hails from Pune, India and Akbar Sunder(0 - 2) from Jaipur, India.  

Round 1: 

Fadel closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Sunder tries to land a cross, but Fadel slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

Sunder walks Fadel down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sunder is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sunder pivots to the right of his opponent, but Fadel is on target with a cross.  
Fadel steps inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Fadel drives a left uppercut into Sunder's body.  
Fadel drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Fadel advances into close range.  Sunder is on target with a right hook to Fadel's ribs.  
Fadel drives a forceful left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  SUNDER IS HURT!  Sunder recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Fadel walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Fadel throws a right uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Fadel holds on to his opponent.  Fadel tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sunder behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Fadel about fouling.

Fadel feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sunder throws a right hook, but Fadel ties up his opponent.  Fadel pushes his forearm into Sunder's face.  The referee warns Fadel and breaks the clinch.

Fadel advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Sunder pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Fadel throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Fadel is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Sunder digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Fadel pivots to the side of his opponent.  Sunder throws a right uppercut, but Fadel holds on to his opponent.  Fadel throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Sunder leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Fadel's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Fadel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a powerful right uppercut into his opponents body.  SUNDER IS HURT!  Sunder recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
