Boxing Daily Report from the Italy National Finals 2028,  taking place on 26/03/2028 from Messina, Italy:

The Messina venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carlo Segre (16(1) - 13) who hails from Milan, Italy and Rocco Anedda(11 - 27) from Naples, Italy.  

Round 1: 

Segre switches the action to the outside and connects with a firm cross.

Segre is looking to close the distance.  Anedda connects with a right hook.  
Anedda advances into close range and drives a firm left hook into Segre's ribs.  
Segre hits home with a left hook.

Anedda advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut to Segre's body.

Segre is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Segre holds on to his opponent.  Segre pushes his forearm into Anedda's face.  The ref breaks Segre's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Segre steps inside.  Anedda throws a left uppercut, but Segre clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Segre pushes his forearm into Anedda's face.  The referee warns Segre and breaks the clinch.
