Satoshi Kodama vs Yoshi Amaya

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan National Finals 2028,  taking place on 26/03/2028 from Hakodate, Japan:

The Hakodate venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Satoshi Kodama (1 - 2) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Yoshi Amaya(2 - 1) from Hachioji, Japan.

Amaya is on target with an overhand left.  
Amaya sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Amaya is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Kodama lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Kodama backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Amaya steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Amaya lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.
