The Kisumu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Corey Ndururi (14 - 20) who hails from Ruiru, Kenya and Dom Lavatsa(2 - 2(1)) from Nairobi, Kenya.  

Round 1: 

Ndururi tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ndururi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Lavatsa drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  
Lavatsa pivots to the right of his opponent, but Ndururi lands with a sharp jab.

Lavatsa is on target with a right uppercut.  
Lavatsa pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Ndururi's ribs.  
Ndururi connects with a solid cross.  
Ndururi digs in a solid left uppercut to Lavatsa's body.  
Ndururi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a firm right hook into Lavatsa's body.  
Ndururi lands a sharp cross.  
Lavatsa is on target with a left uppercut.  
Ndururi lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lavatsa switches the action to the outside and throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ndururi advances into close range.  Lavatsa is on target with a left uppercut.  Lavatsa throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm cross.

Ndururi closes the distance.  Ndururi pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp left hook into Lavatsa's liver.  
Lavatsa throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Lavatsa pivots to the right of his opponent, but Ndururi hits home with a left uppercut.  
Lavatsa advances into close range.  Ndururi lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Lavatsa almost instantly recovers. 
Lavatsa steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Ndururi is whaling away with hooks, but Lavatsa keeps his defence tight.  Ndururi lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ndururi steps inside and lands a right hook.  
Lavatsa is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but Ndururi sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Ndururi gets on the inside and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Ndururi digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Lavatsa throws a left hook, but Ndururi ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Ndururi pushes his forearm into Lavatsa's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ndururi about fouling.  
Ndururi pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ndururi is on target with a firm right hook.  Ndururi clinches his opponent.  Ndururi uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Lavatsa behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lavatsa advances into close range and lands a right hook.
