Bruce Coates vs Dai Sleigh

Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2028,  taking place on 29/03/2028 from Georgetown, Guyana:

The Georgetown venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bruce Coates (15 - 21) who hails from Linden, Guyana and Dai Sleigh(7 - 6) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Coates gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.

Sleigh drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Sleigh goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Coates's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
