Ahmed Rayes vs Malik Majid

Boxing Daily Report from the Iran National Finals 2028,  taking place on 29/03/2028 from Karaj, Iran:

The Karaj venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ahmed Rayes (17 - 8) who hails from Isfahan, Iran and Malik Majid(44(1) - 25) from Karaj, Iran.  

Round 1: 

Majid hits home with a cross.

Majid advances into close range and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Majid walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Majid is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Majid gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  
Majid sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Majid tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Majid sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook to Rayes's ribs.  
Majid gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Majid's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Rayes is on target with an overhand right.  
Rayes is on target with a cross.  
Majid drives a left hook into Rayes's body.

Majid lands a sharp overhand right.  
Rayes tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.
