Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2028,  taking place on 01/04/2028 from Spanish Town, Jamaica:

The Spanish Town venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ashley Ballantine (18 - 13) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Isaac Magrum(27 - 21) from Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Magrum advances into close range.  Ballantine hits home with a right hook.

Magrum pivots from in front of his opponent, but Ballantine connects with a cross.

Magrum walks Ballantine down, trapping him in the corner.  Ballantine lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Ballantine is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Ballantine throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Magrum's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Ballantine's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Magrum's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
