Yao Bilguun vs Zeyn Backirov

Boxing Daily Report from the Mongolia National Finals 2028,  taking place on 11/04/2028 from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia:

The Ulaanbaatar venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Yao Bilguun (2 - 3) who hails from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Zeyn Backirov(24 - 10) from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.  

Round 1:

Bilguun steps to the outside and lands a solid overhand left.  
Backirov steps inside.  Backirov pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Backirov manouvers Bilguun onto the ropes.  Backirov pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Bilguun throws a right hook, but Backirov clinches his opponent.  Backirov pushes his forearm into Bilguun's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Backirov.  
Bilguun strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Backirov gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Backirov lands a left uppercut.  
Backirov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Backirov's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
