Jay Sanders vs Oscar Pyper

Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2028,  taking place on 11/04/2028 from Waitakere, New Zealand:

The Waitakere venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jay Sanders (35(2) - 10) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Oscar Pyper(10 - 9) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  

Round 1: 

Sanders lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Sanders attempts to land a jab, but Pyper slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.
