Boxing Daily Report from the Zambia National Finals 2028,  taking place on 26/04/2028 from Kitwe, Zambia:

The Kitwe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mahdi Chitala (24 - 30) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Rashon Hamutete(1 - 1) from Kitwe, Zambia.  

Round 1: 

Hamutete pivots to the left of his opponent.  Hamutete lands with a stiff jab.  Hamutete attempts to land a left uppercut, but Chitala blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Chitala steps away from his opponent.  Chitala feints a jab, tricking Hamutete into countering with a cross.  Chitala springs the trap, countering with  a left uppercut.  
Chitala closes the distance and connects with a right uppercut.  
Chitala lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Chitala switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hamutete lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Chitala lands a spiteful jab.  
Hamutete steps away from his opponent.  Hamutete sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Hamutete pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Chitala quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Chitala switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a hard jab.  
Chitala lands a jab.  
Chitala steps to the outside.  Hamutete is on target with a cross.  
Chitala tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Chitala lands with a hard jab.

Chitala sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Hamutete manouvers Chitala onto the ropes.  Hamutete lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Chitala gets on the inside.  Chitala goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Hamutete time to recover.  
Chitala is looking to keep his distance.  Chitala lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Hamutete connects with a cross.  
Hamutete attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Chitala to the neutral corner.  He warns Hamutete to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.  
Hamutete manages to force Chitala onto the ropes.  Chitala lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Chitala throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Hamutete hits home with a left hook.  Hamutete tries to land a left hook, but Chitala parries the shot and counters with a cross.
