Boxing Daily Report from the Turkey National Finals 2028,  taking place on 26/04/2028 from Istanbul, Turkey:

The Istanbul venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Duygu Yucekok (23 - 9) who hails from Gaziantep, Turkey and Tunc Babaoglu(5 - 28(1)) from Izmir, Turkey.

Babaoglu lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Babaoglu walks Yucekok onto the ropes.  Babaoglu pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Yucekok is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Yucekok feints a right, and then lands a stinging jab.  
Yucekok tries to keep the action at long range.  Babaoglu is on target with a solid cross.  Babaoglu tries to land a jab, but Yucekok blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Yucekok sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Babaoglu walks Yucekok down, trapping him on the ropes.  Babaoglu is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Babaoglu gets on the inside.  Babaoglu sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Babaoglu throws a right uppercut, but Yucekok ties up his opponent.  Yucekok throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Babaoglu goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Yucekok's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
