Manu Peltonen vs Martti Alanen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/11/2028 from Oulu, Finland:

The Oulu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Manu Peltonen (10 - 2) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Martti Alanen(7 - 7) from Oulu, Finland.  

Round 1:

Alanen steps to the outside.  Alanen lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Peltonen tries to land an overhand left, but Alanen sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Alanen steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Peltonen advances into close range.  Peltonen sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Alanen connects with a solid left hook.  
Peltonen lands a right uppercut.  Peltonen attempts to land a jab, but Alanen blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Alanen is looking to keep his distance.  Alanen feints a jab, but Peltonen ignores the feint and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Alanen is looking to keep his distance and lands a sharp cross.  
Peltonen steps inside and manouvers Alanen onto the ropes.  Peltonen pivots to the left of his opponent.  Peltonen throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Alanen time to recover.  
Alanen steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Peltonen pivots to the side of his opponent, but Alanen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Peltonen manages to force Alanen onto the ropes.  Peltonen pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Alanen is looking to keep his distance and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Alanen switches the action to the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Alanen steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Alanen throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Peltonen lands a left hook.  
Alanen steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Alanen hits home with a cross.
