Dominic Labi vs Richard Nimoh

Boxing Daily Report from the Ghana National Finals 2029,  taking place on 26/03/2029 from Accra, Ghana:

The Accra venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dominic Labi (7 - 20(1)) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Richard Nimoh(1 - 2) from Takoradi, Ghana.  

Round 1: 

Nimoh throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.

Nimoh is looking to close the distance.  Nimoh quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Labi throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Labi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Nimoh steps inside and forces Labi to back into the ropes.  Labi connects with a left hook.  
Nimoh is on target with a right hook to Labi's body.  Labi holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Labi pushes his forearm into Nimoh's face.  The ref breaks Labi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nimoh advances into close range.  Nimoh sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nimoh throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Nimoh closes the distance and forces Labi to back into the ropes.  Nimoh throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Labi clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Labi pushes his forearm into Nimoh's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Labi.  
Labi switches the action to the outside.  Nimoh attempts to land a jab, but Labi slips the shot and counters with a left hook.
