Paul Elrick vs Rex Molpus

Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2029,  taking place on 26/03/2029 from Georgetown, Guyana:

The Georgetown venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Paul Elrick (16 - 14) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Rex Molpus(15 - 7) from Linden, Guyana.

Molpus feints a left hook, and then throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Elrick closes the distance.  Elrick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Molpus lands a firm left hook.  Molpus throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Elrick time to recover.  
Elrick walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Elrick is on target with a firm cross to Molpus's body.  
Elrick tries to land a jab, but Molpus slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Molpus lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Molpus sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a solid cross.  
Molpus sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Molpus sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Elrick lands a spiteful jab.  
Molpus pivots to the side of his opponent and hits the target with a stiff jab.
