Hikaru Kitagawa vs Yasushi Matsumoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan National Finals 2029,  taking place on 26/03/2029 from Matsudo, Japan:

The Matsudo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hikaru Kitagawa (3 - 7) who hails from Higashiosaka, Japan and Yasushi Matsumoto(3 - 0) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Matsumoto throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Kitagawa steps to the outside.  Kitagawa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Matsumoto hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Kitagawa switches the action to the outside.  Kitagawa sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Matsumoto drives a solid jab into his opponents face.
