Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2029,  taking place on 11/04/2029 from Christchurch, New Zealand:

The Christchurch venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ewan Horsburgh (3 - 12) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Fraser Rodie(19(2) - 17) from North Shore, New Zealand.  

Round 1:

Rodie pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Rodie lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Rodie connects with a left hook.  
Rodie walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Horsburgh is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Rodie digs in a stinging right hook to Horsburgh's body.  Rodie clinches his opponent.  Rodie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.
