Diego Cassillas vs Marjun Gomez

Boxing Daily Report from the Paraguay National Finals 2029,  taking place on 11/04/2029 from Asuncion, Paraguay:

The Asuncion venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Cassillas (3 - 9) who hails from Capiata, Paraguay and Marjun Gomez(20 - 16) from Capiata, Paraguay.  

Round 1: 

Cassillas lands a cross.

Cassillas pushes his forearm into Gomez's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cassillas about fouling.

Gomez pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
