Boxing Daily Report from the Zambia National Finals 2029,  taking place on 26/04/2029 from Kitwe, Zambia:

The Kitwe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hayden Malungo (7 - 20) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Voshon Hamakayi(6 - 17) from Lusaka, Zambia.  

Round 1: 

Hamakayi steps inside and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Malungo steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Malungo lands a firm cross.  
Malungo tries to step out of his opponents range.  Malungo feints a jab, and then is on target with a cross to his opponents body.

Hamakayi drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Malungo tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  Malungo attempts to land a cross, but Hamakayi slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to Malungo's liver.  
Malungo lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hamakayi is on target with a solid right hook.  
Malungo feints a cross, and then strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Hamakayi is looking to close the distance and drives a right uppercut into Malungo's body.  
Malungo steps away from his opponent and hits home with an overhand right.  Malungo tries to land a jab, but Hamakayi sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Hamakayi sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but  attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Hamakayi time to recover.  
Malungo steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Malungo is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hamakayi digs in a sharp left uppercut to Malungo's liver.  
Hamakayi is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.
