Mark Troop vs Gus Harrower

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/08/2029 from Edmonton, Canada:

The Edmonton venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mark Troop (9 - 8) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Gus Harrower(3 - 8) from Edmonton, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Troop advances into close range and connects with a firm left hook.  
Harrower is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Troop lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Troop walks Harrower down, trapping him in the corner.  Harrower lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Troop hits home with a cross.  
Harrower is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Troop closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Troop throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.

Harrower sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Troop connects with a cross.  
Troop throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Harrower's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
