Max Underwood vs Mark Kavanagh

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 19/08/2029 from Kansas City, USA:

The Kansas City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Max Underwood (3 - 7) who hails from Chicago, USA and Mark Kavanagh(12 - 21) from Kansas City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Underwood drives a left hook into Kavanagh's body.

Underwood is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.

Kavanagh advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Underwood on the ropes.  Kavanagh hits home with a left uppercut.  Kavanagh holds on to his opponent. Underwood attempts to land a left uppercut, but Kavanagh parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kavanagh digs in a sharp left hook to Underwood's body.  Kavanagh holds on to his opponent.  Kavanagh pushes his forearm into Underwood's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kavanagh about fouling.
