Dana Walberg vs Santiago Prieto

Boxing Daily Report from the Daegu World Boxing Championships 2029,  taking place on 07/09/2029 from Daegu, South Korea:

The Daegu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Round of 32 fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching the broadcast live from around the world, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dana Walberg (29 - 20) who hails from Bergen, Norway and Santiago Prieto(20 - 13) from San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  

Round 1: 

Walberg tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land an overhand right, but Prieto slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Walberg switches the action to the outside.  Prieto lands a cross.  
Prieto is on target with a cross.  
Walberg lands a right hook.  
Walberg steps away from his opponent.  Prieto hits home with an overhand right.  
Walberg is on target with a left hook.  
Prieto steps inside.  Walberg lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Walberg is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.

Prieto steps inside.  Prieto sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Walberg goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Prieto's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Walberg lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Walberg is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Walberg lands a firm cross.  
Prieto gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Prieto walks Walberg down, trapping him on the ropes.  Prieto lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Walberg drives a sharp right uppercut into Prieto's body.  
Prieto advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Walberg steps to the outside.  Walberg sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Prieto manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Walberg lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
