Boxing Daily Report from the Daegu World Boxing Championships 2029,  taking place on 07/09/2029 from Daegu, South Korea:

The Daegu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Round of 32 fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching the broadcast live from around the world, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Spade (19 - 14) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Ryo Taveras(20 - 10) from Managua, Nicaragua.  

Round 1: 

Taveras gets on the inside.  Taveras pivots to the left of his opponent.  Spade tries to land a right uppercut, but Taveras parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Taveras lands a right hook.  
Spade steps away from his opponent.  Taveras throws an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.
