Javier Lizardo vs Alejandro De Gonia

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/09/2029 from San Juan, Puerto Rico:

The San Juan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Javier Lizardo (3 - 4) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Alejandro De Gonia(3 - 5) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

De Gonia tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lizardo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lizardo tries to step out of his opponents range and drives a jab into his opponents body.

De Gonia hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Lizardo switches the action to the outside.  De Gonia is on target with a cross.  De Gonia throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
De Gonia is looking to close the distance and manages to force Lizardo onto the ropes.  De Gonia hits home with a right hook.  
Lizardo finds the target with a sharp jab.  
De Gonia manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Lizardo is on target with a cross.  
De Gonia steps inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.
