Josip Mesic vs Edon Blaku

Boxing Daily Report from the Europe Boxing Championships 2030,  taking place on 09/01/2030 from Donetsk, Ukraine:

The Donetsk venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Round of 16 fight in the Lightweight divison.

Blaku backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Mesic tries to tag Blaku on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Mesic is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Mesic is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Blaku's body.  
Mesic switches the action to the outside.  Mesic sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with an overhand left.  
Blaku lands with a hard jab.  
Blaku steps inside.  Mesic pivots to the right of his opponent, but Blaku is on target with a right uppercut.  
Mesic tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mesic hits home with a cross.  
Blaku advances into close range.  Mesic pivots to the left of his opponent, but Blaku is on target with a left hook.
