Louie Nolton vs Telo Ionesco

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/01/2030 from Montreal, Canada:

The Montreal venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Louie Nolton (15 - 6) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Telo Ionesco(10 - 10) from Montreal, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Ionesco switches the action to the outside.  Ionesco sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Ionesco steps inside and connects with a left hook.  
Nolton is on target with a cross.  
Ionesco closes the distance and tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Ionesco manouvers Nolton onto the ropes.  Nolton lands a jab.  
Ionesco gets on the inside.  Ionesco quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.

Nolton steps away from his opponent.  Ionesco throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ionesco steps inside and digs in a right uppercut to Nolton's body.  
Ionesco closes the distance and manages to force Nolton into the corner.  Ionesco attempts to land a right hook, but Nolton blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
