Usi Ngcuka vs Jack Kipulu

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/01/2030 from Mitchells Plain, South Africa:

The Mitchells Plain venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Usi Ngcuka (24 - 10) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Jack Kipulu(2 - 10) from Mitchells Plain, South Africa.  

Round 1: 

Ngcuka lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Kipulu drives a right hook into Ngcuka's ribs.  
Kipulu steps inside.  Ngcuka lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Kipulu walks Ngcuka down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ngcuka drives a solid left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Kipulu strikes his opponents body with a cross.  Kipulu throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.

Ngcuka advances into close range.  Ngcuka sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ngcuka lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kipulu sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Ngcuka lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kipulu steps inside.  Ngcuka hits home with a firm right hook.  
Ngcuka lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Kipulu sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Ngcuka lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kipulu throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Ngcuka feints a right, and then lands a jab followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Ngcuka steps inside.  Kipulu throws a right hook, but Ngcuka holds on to his opponent.  Kipulu tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ngcuka's kidney. The referee warns Kipulu and breaks the clinch.  
Ngcuka connects with a right hook.  
Ngcuka lands a stinging right hook.  
Ngcuka is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Ngcuka is looking to close the distance.  Kipulu throws a right hook, but Ngcuka ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kipulu pushes his forearm into Ngcuka's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kipulu to stop fouling.
