Manuel Olmos vs Seferino Peno

Boxing Daily Report from the Costa Rica National Finals 2030,  taking place on 11/03/2030 from San Jose, Costa Rica:

The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Manuel Olmos (9 - 14) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Seferino Peno(5 - 1) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  

Round 1: 

Olmos lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Peno tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but Olmos parries the shot and counters with a right hook.

Olmos hits home with a solid left uppercut.  Olmos tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Peno is on target with a cross.  Peno attempts to land a jab, but Olmos parries the shot and counters with a firm right hook.
