Gideon Taitto vs Juho Innanen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/03/2030 from Espoo, Finland:

The Espoo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gideon Taitto (7 - 13) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Juho Innanen(10 - 18) from Espoo, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Taitto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Innanen is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Taitto steps inside.  Innanen tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.

Taitto switches the action to the outside.  Taitto goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Innanen's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Innanen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right hook into Taitto's body.  
Taitto lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Taitto switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Taitto goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Innanen to the neutral corner.  He warns Taitto that he could be heading for a point deduction.  
Innanen is looking to close the distance and walks Taitto into a corner.  Taitto lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Innanen feints a jab, and then connects with a left uppercut.  
Taitto finds the target with a jab.  
Taitto switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Innanen closes the distance and connects with a sharp right uppercut.  Innanen clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Innanen walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Innanen lands a spiteful jab.  
Innanen pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Taitto is on target with a left hook to Innanen's body.  
Taitto is looking to close the distance.  Innanen digs in a right uppercut to Taitto's ribs.  Innanen holds on to his opponent.  Taitto leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Innanen advances into close range and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.
