Davie Salmond vs Sam Evans

Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2030,  taking place on 26/03/2030 from Linden, Guyana:

The Linden venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Davie Salmond (10 - 9) who hails from New Amsterdam, Guyana and Sam Evans(5 - 4) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Evans pivots to the left of his opponent, but Salmond lands a sharp cross.  
Evans pivots to the side of his opponent.  Salmond throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.
