The Reggio Emilia venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mario Rubino (5 - 6) who hails from Turin, Italy and Vicenzo Balbo(15(3) - 19) from Parma, Italy.

Rubino steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Balbo sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.

Balbo lands a right uppercut.  
Rubino is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Balbo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Balbo lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Balbo clinches his opponent.  Balbo leans on his opponent using all his weight. Balbo uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Rubino behind the head. 
Balbo walks his opponent into the red corner.  Rubino throws a right uppercut, but Balbo clinches his opponent.  Balbo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Rubino behind the head. The referee warns Balbo and breaks the clinch.  
Rubino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Balbo lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Balbo throws a right uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Balbo clinches his opponent.  Rubino pushes his forearm into Balbo's face.  The referee warns Rubino and breaks the clinch.  
Balbo lands a right uppercut.  
Balbo walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Balbo lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Balbo closes the distance.  Rubino hits home with a left hook.  
Balbo lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Balbo steps inside and is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Rubino switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Balbo drives a sharp left hook into Rubino's liver.  
Balbo gets on the inside.  Rubino throws a right hook, but Balbo clinches his opponent.  Balbo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Balbo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Balbo is looking to force the stoppage!  Balbo lands a cross, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND RUBINO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Balbo!
