Fumio Mase vs Keiichi Onishi

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan National Finals 2030,  taking place on 26/03/2030 from Yokohama, Japan:

The Yokohama venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fumio Mase (1 - 3) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Keiichi Onishi(8 - 2) from Hiroshima, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Mase drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Onishi attempts to land a cross, but Mase sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.

Mase tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mase throws a right hook, but Onishi clinches his opponent.  Mase is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Onishi pushes his forearm into Mase's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Onishi lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body, AND SENDS MASE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Onishi is looking to force the stoppage!  Onishi lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  It looks like Mase has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Mase throws a left hook, but Onishi holds on to his opponent.  Onishi uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mase behind the head. The referee warns Onishi and breaks the clinch.  
Onishi cuts off the ring, trapping Mase in the corner.  Mase tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Onishi steps inside.  Mase tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Onishi lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Onishi manouvers Mase onto the ropes.  Onishi lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Onishi connects with a right hook.  Onishi ties up his opponent.  Onishi throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Onishi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Onishi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mase throws a left uppercut, but Onishi clinches his opponent.  Onishi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mase steps to the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Onishi steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS MASE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Mase steps away from his opponent.  Mase could be stopped here, if Onishi can find the right shot!  Onishi digs in a forceful right hook to Mase's body.  MASE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT MASE CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Onishi!
