Zachary Aikens vs Paul Groves

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/04/2030 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Zachary Aikens (6 - 2) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Paul Groves(17 - 16) from Nassau, Bahamas.  

Round 1: 

Groves is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Groves steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Groves lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Groves gets on the inside.  Groves pivots to the side of his opponent.  Groves tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Groves closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Aikens tries to keep the action at long range.  Aikens sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Aikens tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
