Morgan Gittings vs Zach Carberry

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 06/04/2030 from Las Vegas, USA:

The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Morgan Gittings (0 - 1) who hails from Chicago, USA and Zach Carberry(5(1) - 18) from Las Vegas, USA.  

Round 1: 

Carberry gets on the inside.  Carberry sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Gittings connects with a left hook.  
Carberry digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Carberry forces Gittings to retreat into the red corner.  Carberry lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Carberry drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Gittings steps away from his opponent and hits home with a cross.

Carberry lands a right uppercut.  
Carberry closes the distance.  Carberry sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gittings attempts to land a right uppercut, but Carberry blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Gittings steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Carberry throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Carberry ties up his opponent.  Carberry is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Carberry's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carberry is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Gittings steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Carberry is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Carberry gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Carberry forces Gittings to retreat onto the ropes.  Carberry digs in a left hook to his opponents body.
